Bordeaux is putting on fancy dress and the two banks of the Garonne are untied in the festivities. The Bordeaux Carnival is a great get together taking on a different theme every year, with each year more inventive than the previous!It's a chance to party, but also to learn about other cultures in a friendly exchange and open oneself up to the big wide world. There are parades, concerts and activities for the kids, lots of aperitifs, shows, workshops and so on.Since the restoration of the quays and the introduction of the tramway, the town of Bordeaux has benefited from a new lease of life that the carnival shows off to advantage!
